About

Report-Radiology.com is a free, structured database of radiology report templates for radiologists, residents, and medical students.

Writing a clear, complete, and well-structured radiology report is one of the core skills of our profession — and one of the hardest to learn from textbooks alone. This site was created to close that gap: a practical reference library of report templates based on real, fully anonymized cases, covering neuroradiology, head & neck, spine, chest, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging.

Who this site is for

  • Radiology residents and students learning how findings are structured, phrased, and communicated in professional reports
  • Practicing radiologists looking for a quick structural reference for less frequent examinations
  • Other medical professionals who want to better understand the language and structure of the radiology reports they receive

How to use these templates

All templates are provided for educational purposes only. They reflect the reporting style of the contributing radiologists and must always be adapted to the individual patient, the clinical question, and local reporting standards. They are not a substitute for clinical judgement, and no template should be used verbatim in patient care.

Editorial standards

Every template on this site is based on a real, anonymized case. Templates are written or reviewed by qualified radiologists, and we follow these principles:

  • All patient-identifying information is removed before publication
  • Terminology follows current European radiological reporting conventions
  • Templates are reviewed for structural completeness: clinical information, technique, findings, and impression
  • We do not publish content generated without specialist review

Her clinical focus includes demyelinating disease, neuro-oncology, and vascular neuroimaging. She reviews the neuroradiology content on this site.

Who is behind this site

Report-Radiology.com is a project of Radiology Prime, an independent online neuroradiology second opinion service. The template database is maintained as a free educational resource for the radiology community. For patients seeking an independent expert review of their brain or spine MRI, more information is available at radiologyprime.com.
