Findings:
A calcified nodular bony protruberence with inward protrusion into the oral cavity is noted arising from the midline hard palate, specifically from the palatine process of the maxilla, measuring approximately 1 x 0.7 cm on the coronal images. The lesion is slightly more prominent on the right side. The lesion shows areas of lucency and cortical defects, likely presenting the biopsy site. No obvious associated soft tissue swelling, collection or abnormal enhancement. No periosteal reaction.
Vertically impacted and unerupted maxillary molars, projecting into the maxillary sinuses bilaterally. Mild mucosal thickening is seen in both maxillary sinuses, primarily odontogenic in nature. The paranasal sinuses are otherwise clear.
Nasal septal deviation to the left is seen.
The mastoid air cells and the middle ear cavities are unremarkable.
The imaged brain and the intracranial circulation are unremarkable. Fetal origin of the posterior cerebral arteries is noted bilaterally.
Conclusion:
Features are compatible with torus palatinus. No associated soft tissue abnormality.
