Cavernoma

Findings:
A well-defined ovoid intra-axial lesion measuring 14 x 12 x 10 mm located in the right inferior temporal gyrus. It displays a mixed-signal intensity centrally on both T1 and T2 with prominent blooming on SWI sequence. No surrounding edema or enhancement is seen.
Mild background small vessel ischaemic disease involving the periventricular white matter and the brain stem. No diffusion restriction. No evidence of any enhancement on the postcontrast study.
The pituitary gland is normal.
Moderate involutional changes, more prominently involving the parietal lobes on the right mesiotemporal structures. No mass or midline shift.
The orbits, paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are clear.
No bony abnormality is seen. The craniocervical junction is normal.

Conclusion:
Intra-axial lesion in the right inferior temporal gyrus, in keeping with a cavernoma type II according to Zabramski classification.
