Incomplete notochordal regression

Findings:

The cord and conus are unremarkable, as is the cauda equina. The cord terminates at T12.

Incomplete notochordal regression is seen in the posterior aspect of multiple vertebral bodies in the thoracic and lumbar spine. Alignment of the lumbar spine is roughly anatomical.

There is no disc herniation. The facet joints have a normal appearance. The central canal, lateral recesses and neural exit foramina are widely patent.
No paravertebral abnormality is identified.

Conclusion:

Normal MRI spine.
