Dermoid cyst

Findings:
A well defined, biloculated, cystic lesion of 3 x 5 x 4 cm is seen in the right sublingual space between mylohyoid muscle laterally and geniohyoid / genioglossus complex medially. The lesion is bulging into submandibular space inferiorly. The right submandibular gland is at posterolateral aspect of lesion. The lesion shows intermediate signal intensity on the T1 and T2 sequences with marginal enhancement on the postcontrast study.
No associated lymphadenopathy. Non-specific submandibular and cervical lymph nodes are seen bilaterally.
The parotid and submandibular glands are unremarkable.
Prominent nasopharyngeal adenoids and tonsils, appropriate for the age.
The pharyngeal and glottic regions are normal. The parapharyngeal fat space is normal.
The visualised brain is unremarkable. The paranasal sinuses and the mastoid air cells are clear.
No bony abnormality is seen. The craniocervical junction and spinal canal appear patent.

Impression:
Cystic mass lesion in the right sublingual space. Findings are most likely consistent with a dermoid cyst.
