Hattori cyst

Findings:

A well-defined apparently cystic lesion is noted in the right paravertebral (posterior mediastinal) location. The lesion measure 6 x 9 x 11 mm and is located in the right paravertebral location at the sixth level of the thoracic vertebra. No contrast enhancement. No bony remodelling or infiltration of the surrounding structures.

Known vertebral haemangioma in T4 vertebral body. The marrow signal is otherwise unremarkable.

Known, broad-based disc bulging at C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels, as well as a small central disc protrusion at T8-T9 level. No significant stenosis.

Conclusion:

Cystic lesion in the right paravertebral location at T6 level, with no solid or enhancing components. Features are most likely in keeping with a Hattori cyst.
