Stapes prosthesis – medial migration

Findings:
Medially migrated stapes prosthesis is evident traversing the oval window on the right side, consistent with vestibular perforation.
The external auditory canal, middle ear and internal acoustic canal have a normal appearance. The vestibular aqueduct is normal size.
The tympanic membranes are normal. The epitympanic recess, scutum, mastoid antrum and mastoid air cells are normal.
The course of the facial nerve is normal.
The carotid canal and jugular foramen are unremarkable.

Cell thickening is seen in the paranasal sinuses bilaterally. Nasal septal deviation to the right is noted.

Impression:
Right-sided stapes prosthesis with medial migration and vestibular perforation.
