Findings:
Diffuse reticular opacities and some ground-glass opacities are seen distributed in all zones, mostly in a peripheral distribution. No obvious immediate subpleural sparing, no honeycombing. Thickening of bronchovascular bundles as well as bronchial wall thickening is noted bilaterally.
Two small thin-walled pulmonary cysts are seen in the right lower lobe. No suspicious pulmonary nodules. No pleural effusion.
Mildly prominent mediastinal lymph nodes are noted, e.g. up to 1.4 cm measuring right upper paratracheal lymph nodes as well as up to 1.6 cm measuring infracarinal lymph nodes.
The upper abdominal solid organs and bowel are normal in the field of view.
No bony abnormality is identified.
Impression:
Peripheral reticular and ground-glass opacities in both lungs, consistent with non-specific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP).
