Findings:
There is a hyperattenuating, lobulated lesion lesion within the right internal auditory canal, measuring approximately 5 x 3 x 6 mm, with no enhancement on the postcontrast study.
There is a vascular loop of the right anterior inferior cerebellar artery, mildly entering the right IAC (Typ 2).
No abnormalities seen in the left CPA.
The sella is empty and enlarged, containing fluid of CSF signal. The infundibulum traverses the sella, without displacement.
The imaged brain parenchyma is unremarkable. No hydrocephalus.
Mucosal thickening is seen in the right ethmoid sinus. Minimal fluid is seen in several mastoid air cells on the left side.
Conclusion:
Features in keeping with right intracanalicular lipochoristoma. AICA loop type 2 in the right IAC.
Incidental finding of an empty sella.
