Antrochoanal polyp

Findings:
A soft tissue mass is seen in the left maxillary sinus extending into the left nasal cavity and reaching the left-sided nasopharynx posteriorly. The mass is seen widening the maxillary ostium.
The tissue is T1 isointense and intensely T2 hyperintense with heterogeneous, largely rim enhancement.
The paranasal sinuses are otherwise clear.
Concha bullosa is noted bilaterally, more pronounced on the right side with consequential nasal septal deviation to the left.
Prominent nasal adenoid and palatine tonsils, which is normal in this age group.
Borderline submandibular lymph nodes are noted bilaterally.
The soft tissue of the neck is otherwise unremarkable.

The visualised brain is normal. The orbits and the mastoid air cells are clear.

Impression:
Features compatible with left-sided antrochoanal polyp extending into the left nasal cavity and nasopharynx. No sinister pathology.
