Adenoid hypertrophy

Findings:
Enlarged adenoid with narrowing of the nasopharyngeal airway.

The paranasal sinuses are clear, with no mucoperiosteal thickening, mucous retention cysts or air-fluid levels.
The osteomeatal complexes have a normal appearance and no abnormal air cells are identified.
Nasal septal deviation to the left with left-sided bony spur is seen.

The orbits have a normal appearance, as does the nasopharynx and visualised oropharynx.
No bony abnormality is seen. The mastoid air cells and the middle ear cavities are clear.

Conclusion:
Adenoid hypertrophy with narrowing of the nasopharyngeal airway.
Nasal septal deviation with left-sided bony spur.
No evidence of sinusitis or polyposis.
