Elongated Mandibular Coronoid Process and temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis

Findings:
Abnormal elongation of the mandibular coronoid processes is noted bilaterally.
The lengths of the coronoids (extended above the Frankfort plane) measure approximately 9 mm on the right and 5 mm on the left side.
The distance between the coronoid process and the inner face of the frontal part of the zygomatic bone measures approximately 1.5 cm on both sides.

Osteoarthritis of the temporomandibular joints is noted bilaterally with flattening of the condylar heads, sclerosis and subchondral cysts bilaterally as well as osteophytes on the left side, causing joint space narrowing.

The imaged paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are clear.

Conclusion:

Elongated mandibular coronoid processes bilaterally, more significant on the right.

Additionally, bilateral temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis, more significant on the left.
