Normal CT petrous temporal bones

The external auditory canal is normal.

The middle ear is normally aerated. The tympanic membrane appears normal. No soft tissue masses are demonstrated within the epitympanic space. The scutum is not effaced. The aditus ad antrum is normal. The morphology and alignment of the ossicles are normal.

The oval window appears normal.

The internal auditory canal is normal in size.

The modious and cochlear apparatus appears normal.

Vestibule and semicircular canals are normal. No superior semicircular dehiscence demonstrated. Normal density of the fissula ante fenestram. The vestibular aqueduct appears normal in size.

The course of the facial nerve canal is normal.

The carotid canal is normal. The sigmoid sinus and jugular foramen appears normal. Mastoid aeration is normal.

Temporomandibular articulation is normal.
