Periapical abscess

Findings:
Focal lucency is seen at the apex of 41 and 42 (medial and lateral lower incisor) with surrounding bone destruction, without any sclerosis. They involved teeth show no signs of caries.
No other bony lesions were identified. The nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses are unremarkable. Mild nasal septal deviation to the right is seen.
The mastoid air cells and the middle ear cavities are clear.
The imaged upper cervical spine is unremarkable.

Conclusion:
Focal lucency at the apex of 41 and 42 (medial and lateral lower incisor) with surrounding bone destruction, likely in keeping with periapical abscess. Clinical correlation is advised.
No other bony abnormality identified.
