Warthin tumor of Parotid

Findings:
There is a well-defined, rounded, thick-walled cystic mass involving the left parotid gland, centred in the upper portion of the left superficial parotid lobe, measuring 1.9 x 2 x 2.4 cm. There is heterogeneous internal signal including small areas of T1 hyperintensity, and rim enhancement on the postcontrast study.
The parotid gland is otherwise normal without any inflammatory changes.
No evidence of any stones or duct dilatation.

The right parotid, the submandibular and thyroid glands are unremarkable. There is no lymphadenopathy.

The tongue and the floor of the mouth have a normal appearance. The retromolar trigone is unremarkable.
The pharyngeal and glottic regions are normal. The parapharyngeal fat space is normal. The tonsils and adenoids are normal.
The cervical vessels are unremarkable.
No bony abnormality is seen. The craniocervical junction and spinal canal appear patent.

Conclusion:
Approximately 2 cm measuring, predominantly cystic lesion in the left superficial parotid, likely in keeping with Warthin tumour, DDX pleomorphic adenoma (less likely due to lack of homogeneous enhancement). No evidence of acute inflammation, no sialadenitis or sialolithiasis.
