Stafne bone cavity

Findings:
There is an indentation of the medial cortex of the mandible below the mandibular canal with a corticated rim and no soft tissue abnormalities, measuring approximately 7 x 4 mm.
No further bony abnormality can be identified.
Mild mucosal thickening is seen along the floor of the left maxillary sinus, possibly odontogenic due to unerupted left upper third molar, which is protruding into the maxillary sinus on the left. The paranasal sinuses, mastoid air cells and the middle ear cavities are otherwise clear.
No soft tissue abnormality can be identified.

Impression:
CT findings compatible with Stafne bone cavity. No sinister pathology.
