Complex facial fractures

Findings:
Mildly fracture in the left orbit lateral wall as well as markedly displaced fracture of the left maxillary sinus walls involving the left orbital floor and the infraorbital canal. No prolapse of the extraocular muscles. The globes are unremarkable.
There is also non-displaced fractures involving the medial orbital wall and the ethmoid sinuses on the left side. Consequential haemorrhage within the left ethmoid and maxillary sinuses.
There is also a non-displaced fracture of the left zygomatic arch. Furthermore, mildly displaced nasal bone fracture involving the anterior nasal septum is seen.


Right-sided concha bullosa with mild nasal septal deviation to the left with left-sided bony spur is seen.

A large periapical cyst is seen surrounding the root of the right upper lateral incisor.

The mastoid air cells and the middle ear cavities are unremarkable.

Conclusion:
Complex naso-orbitoethmoid as well as zygomaticomaxillary complex fractures on the left with haemorrhage within the left ethmoid and maxillary sinuses. No prolapse of the extraocular muscles.
